For the past four years, Coffee and Desserts have been showcased together, first in Las Vegas and then in ’07 in Atlanta. The combination worked magnificently well, creating new profitable opportunities for both. Desserts added more than 1200 buyers to the coffee shows, introducing these buyers to both desserts and coffees. Coffee shops are constantly looking to add and upgrade desserts while traditional bakeries and restaurants are adding coffee. In the first showcase ever, the two categories that are so closely identified with each other will offer more than 4,000 expected buyers “the best of both worlds.” In 2007, the co-located shows attracted 4,000 retailers, chefs, food service operators, gourmet shops, coffee shops, caterers, restaurants and wholesalers.

The buzz and excitement that we created on the floor in ’07 will be even greater in ’08 as our main stage features “The Small Bite Big Taste Competition”, Pastry Chef Competition (by the American Culinary Federation Greater Atlanta Chapter), seminars and demonstrations by world-class chefs. The focus will be on combination presentations, latte, gelato, upscale pastries, baked goods, confectionary, ice cream, wines and a broad array of dessert, coffee and tea products. Most importantly, the show will attract hundreds of new buyers who will want to be part of this unprecedented showcase of desserts, coffee and tea.
